TASTE OF ITALY // THE EXPERIENCE

Updated: Nov 30, 2024

Italy is a must see travel experience and recognized as one of the top travel destinations across the globe. This is precisely why we created the Taste of Italy Experience for our inaugural vacation destination in 2025. Italy boasts numerous captivating attractions, such as the scenic canals of Venice, the vineyards of Tuscany, the ancient streets of Rome, the meandering Arno river in Florence, and the stunning cliffs of Positano, among many others. The following is an overview of what you can expect during our 9-day adventure exploring three of Italy's most captivating and historically rich locations.

WHEN IN ROME // We will spend our first 3 days in Rome, savoring delicious Italian cuisine and immersing ourselves in historical landmarks. Upon our arrival at the Le Meridien Visconti, we will kick off our first evening by indulging in wine, cocktails, and Hor's d'oeuvres at the Taste of Italy reception. This gathering will provide an opportunity to meet your fellow travelers while enjoying a charming rooftop bar. Over the next two days, we have scheduled a private guided tour called "Rome In a Day," along with art history and walking food tours. These activities will include visits to The Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica, The Pantheon, and the Roman Forum. Our final night, we will enjoy a wine dinner, complete with multiple courses and wine pairings direct from the Chef.

UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN // After breakfast in Rome, we will embark on a scenic train ride to our hotel in Florence, Sina Villa Medici. Florence is one of Italy's most beloved cities due to its impressive architecture and natural beauty. Following another opening night happy hour reception, we will embark on two very special days enjoying the vineyards in Tuscany. The vineyards of Tuscany are world-renowned for their rolling hills, rich soils and centuries-old winemaking traditions. Spanning picturesque landscapes, the region is home to famous appellations like Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino, and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Tuscan vineyards thrive under the Mediterranean sun, producing exceptional Sangiovese-based wines with bold flavors, vibrant acidity, and complex aromas. Whether nestled in medieval towns or alongside ancient olive groves, these vineyards offer a perfect blend of history, culture, and viticulture that attracts wine lovers from around the globe. These 3 days wrap up our visit to Florence, and after another five course, private wine dinner, we will head to Venice on a train the next morning.

AHH VENICE // After we checkin to the Ai Reali Di Venezia, (and another reception), our 3-day trip to Venice offers an enchanting blend of culture, history, and scenic beauty. On the first day, explore the iconic landmarks of Piazza San Marco, including the stunning St. Mark’s Basilica and the Gothic-style Doge’s Palace. And we will not miss the chance to climb the Campanile for breathtaking views of the city.

Day two will be spent gliding through Venice’s famous canals on a gondola ride, followed by a visit to the Rialto Bridge and its bustling market for a walking food tour.

On our final day, we end the trip with a free day to explore Venice and a sunset stroll along the Grand Canal, before we make our way to our final curated dinner, with a taste of Venice’s renowned seafood cuisine.
